Job Description
This job contributes to Jimmy John's success by assisting the General Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job assists and supervises a team of store employees to create and maintain a Freaky Fast, hospital clean, environment. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. The incumbent is responsible for acting in accordance with Jimmy John's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting General manager in staffing, training, and development of team members
Constantly review key business indicators and looks for opportunities to make positive change
Ensures a safe food environment
Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective operations
Directing employees to complete tasks and to various work stations
Executing store systems and procedures during shifts
Follows all operational procedures, including those for cash handling
Maintains a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume and sets the pace for the team
Delivers Outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer first attitude
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Assist with new employee training
This Jimmy John’s is independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with LPH Ventures, franchisor of the Jimmy John’s system.
Ability to direct the work of others
Ability to work in a team
Knowledge of the retail environment
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
At least 18 years of age
