Jimmy John’s is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Shift Manager to join our team! We’re looking for someone who leads by example, takes initiative, and helps create a positive, fast-paced work environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining Jimmy John’s standards for speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Train, coach, and motivate employees to perform their best.
• Delegate tasks and ensure team members stay productive throughout their shifts.
• Monitor labor costs and make staffing adjustments based on business needs.
• Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, and food safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards.
• Manage cash handling, register operations, and shift paperwork accurately.
• Monitor inventory, minimize food waste, and help control food costs.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager regarding staffing, operational concerns, and shift performance.
• Hold team members accountable for following company policies and procedures.
• Step in wherever needed to support the team and keep operations running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to take initiative.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mentality.
• Ability to lead by example and hold others accountable.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to learn and follow Jimmy John’s operational standards.
